Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continues to improve information technology-based services. In 2019, the implementation of the e-office will be tested immediately. The process of correspondence and similar will be regulated by the system. This was revealed in the information system strengthening meeting in Ganesha I Room, Undiksha Rectorate, on Tuesday (8/1/2019).
Head of UPT ICT Undiksha, Kadek Yota Ernanda Aryanto, S.Kom., M.T., Ph.D., said that the initial version of the e-office system had been completed. Of course, this continues to be refined to be able to provide maximum service. “This system will soon be tested,” he said at a meeting chaired by the Head of the General and Financial Bureau (UK), Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H.
It was further stated that implementing this system would increase the efficiency of the paper procurement budget. “This can also speed up performance,” he said. He added that in the last two years, this university which has a Faculty of Medicine has continued to boost the implementation of online-based performance. “There are 24 systems that have been launched and already have a decree, such as for personnel and performance data. “This still needs improvement and needs input from other parties,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the UK Bureau, Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, said that Undiksha continues to improve the quality of service to be optimal. Utilizing the system in the bureaucratic world is considered more effective and can be completed more quickly. “For example e-office. No longer carrying letters everywhere. Just work through the system,” She explained.
According to Undiksha Chancellor, Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., as one part of realizing Undiksha’s vision of becoming a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia by 2045. This also includes supporting internationalization at home which was launched in 2019. (hms)
