Singaraja– Character strengthening for Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Students at the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continues. This time, students from various fields of study were invited to carry out environment-based activities.
This activity was carried out in three places in the Tabanan Regency area, namely at The Bloom Garden, the Puputan Margarana Heroes Cemetery, and the Tanah Lot Tourism Area. The form of activity is in the form of caring for the environment by cleaning. Besides that, they also study the cultivation and arrangement of plants.
Activity Assistant, Kade Sathya Gita Rismawan explained this activity was to foster an attitude of caring for the environment in Pre-service PPG students. The values obtained are expected to be passed on to students when they become teachers. He mentioned that activities in the Tanah Lot Tourism Area, it was also filled with the handing over of cleaning equipment.
Previously, in the character-strengthening program, PPG Undiksha students were also involved in social care activities targeting orphanages as a form of social care. Apart from that, they also took part in marching training to foster a disciplined and collaborative attitude. This character-strengthening activity is a program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. (hms)
