Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) through the Business Incubator is holding an exhibition of innovative products from 31 August to 2 September 2022. The event is packaged in an open house This is also the same time to awaken the spirit of MSMEs.
Open house This event was held at the Undiksha Auditorium, in collaboration with the State Hindu Religious College (STAHN) Mpu Kuturan and Alfaprima Singaraja. There are various typical Buleleng products on display, such as technology-based products, handicraft products, recycled products, food and beverages, and so on. These products represent the open house theme, namely Product Inkraft Buleleng.
This exhibition not only attracts the attention of the Undiksha academic community but also students from various schools in Buleleng Regency from elementary to high school/vocational school levels. Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Cooperation Affairs, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., after opening the event, said open house both of these as a space to introduce products produced by Undiksha academics and the public to a wider audience as well as a space for developing research results. “The research results that we produce are in the form of prototypes, how can we incubate them to get to a higher level, meaning that they can be distributed to industry and society,” he said.
Through this opportunity, it was also emphasized that the Undiksha Business Incubator was not only limited to facilitating the implementation of product exhibitions. More than that, they are also involved in developing and improving the quality of products produced by the community as well as connecting researchers or people who have products with industry.
Rasben Dantes is also hoping for a title-open house This can further revive MSMEs. According to him, MSMEs can be a determinant of generating the economy, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. “I think this has also been done by the provincial government of Bali through the Bali Rising MSMEs,” he added.
It is hoped that this activity can be carried out continuously and the products on display will be more numerous and varied. Apart from product exhibitions, this event was also filled with art performances. (hms)
