Singaraja- The Faculty of Education, Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held a National Education Scientific Week, which opened, Tuesday (10/11/2020). This activity, took place virtually in collaboration with the Faculty of Education at the Indonesian Hindu University and the Hindu Religious Education and Teaching College (STKIP-AH) Singaraja. From this collaboration, it is hoped that innovations can be designed for educational development.
Chairman of the Committee, Dr. I Kadek Suartama, S.Pd., M.Pd., explained the collaborative implementation of this activity as an effort to increase effectiveness, efficiency, productivity, creativity, innovation, quality, and relevance of implementing academic activities which in turn can increase the clustering of each institution. Further explained, this activity lasted until November 16, 2020, by carrying out various activities including, international publication workshops, accreditation workshops with nine standards and international accreditation), independent campus learning curriculum workshops, as well as entrepreneurship and career development workshops. “All of these activities are carried out online,” he explained.
This activity invited qualified speakers from various tertiary institutions and companies in Indonesia including the State University of Malang, Indonesian University of Education (Bandung), and Jakarta State University, as well as company leaders: Director/Founder of classe.com: PT Edukasi Satu Nol Satu, Director Expertmedia.com: CEO CV. Educational Multimedia. “For participants, all lecturers and administrators of student organizations from FIP Undiksha, FP UNHI, STKIP Hindu Religion Singaraja,” he explained.
Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., appreciated the holding of this scientific week and hoped to produce something for the development of the education sector. “I hope this collaboration can give birth to innovation, especially in the education sector,” he said.
It is also hoped that this collaboration between faculties and universities can continue, in the fields of research, community service, and scientific publications. “There are many things that can be collaborated in the future concerning the Tri Dharma of Higher Education,” he added. (hms)
