Badung- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) conducted an anticipatory reflection for Pre-service and Preparation for the Professional Teacher Education Program (PPG) for specific teachers. This was established through a coordination meeting held in Kuta, Badung on Friday (2/8/20024) This meeting also discussed anticipatory steps against potential problems.
Undiksha PPG Coordinator, Drs. I Gede Nurjaya M.Pd conveyed that the number of specified teachers who will undertake PPG at Undiksha in 2024 is 2.807 consisting of 14 study programs. These teachers will take the exam conducted by BP3 and Undiksha assisting in distributing Ukin examiners and facilitating the knowledge test.
PPG Students of Specific Teachers this period are teachers who have served for a long time and are not yet certified. The implementation of this PPG is slightly different from the previous. There is no longer university-based learning. However, they must register as students at the university, obtain a student identification number and be registered in PDDikti. Therefore, Nurjaya emphasizes the importance of early anticipatory steps against the potential problems. This meeting also included reflection on the PPG that has been conducted. The aim is to continue and improve good practices from both the organizing committee and the students.
This meeting was opened by the Vice Rector for Students Affairs , Alumni, and Public Relation of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Sudiana, M. Kes. He expressed appreciation for the efforts of the entire team in ensuring the success of the PPG program at Undiksha. Reflection and evaluation are necessary actions to understand the execution of the PPG program at Undiksha. Reflection, anticipation and improvement must be carried out personally and part of the team.
Undiksha’s contribution to the PPG Program is part of the effort to prepare professional teachers who will indirectly contribute to the progress of the nation and state Therefore, Prof. Sudiana hopes that the entire team will work sincerely and fulfill their obligations effectively.
