Undiksha PPG Coordinator, Drs. I Gede Nurjaya, M.Pd., said the two exams must be prepared carefully, including anticipatory steps against potential problems, such as the shortage of examiners for the performance test in economic education and mechanical engineering fields. These two fields of study are the first time following the PPG program at Undiksha. Nurjaya emphasized that examiners cannot be determined arbitrarily but must meet the requirements set by the National Committee. “That’s what we need to prepare from now on. Whether the number of examiners we have is sufficient or not, then what we need to do if later the examiner is lacking. So that’s what we are doing,” he explained.
Fulfilment of this examiner will be one of the focuses of analysis by the Undiksha PPG Implementation Committee. As an illustration, examiners can be from Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Kependidikan (LPTK) or from outside LPTK. However, Nurjaya said he would first try to fulfil it from LPTK, especially Undiksha, which will be coordinated with the National Committee. “If it is lacking, we will carry out refreshments, both from lecturers and teachers, we ask the PPG UKM national committee team,” he said.
After opening the meeting, Undiksha Vice Rector, Prof. Rasben Dantes, representing Undiksha Rector, expressed his appreciation to the Undiksha PPG team for carrying out PPG activities in 2022, which consisted of several batches. According to him, everything has run smoothly and successfully.
He hopes the performance and knowledge test of PPG Daljab category I batch 2 can run well. He emphasized that the most important thing is that Undiksha, as an LPTK, can contribute to producing professional and superior teachers who can produce superior human resources in the future through this PPG.
This exam is expected to receive support from the participants to make the activity run well and smoothly. Strengthening the understanding and mastery of information technology is also very important for the participants. (hms)
