During monitoring, Kasrem 163/Wira Satya, Colonel Inf Ida Bagus Ketut Surya Widana said the implementation of this activity was an effort to help people who were confirmed positive for Covid-19 and needed help through convalescent blood plasma. “This is probably one of the best ways to provide treatment because there is no cure yet for friends who are still confirmed,” he said.
Delivered further, this activity is a form of collaboration between the Kodim, Polres, and Regional Government and is inseparable from Undiksha’s support which has facilitated the location. On this occasion the Chancellor of Undiksha I Nyoman Jampel hoped that this activity would not only be attended by the TNI and Polri, but also the general public who had been confirmed positive for Covid-19. “I appeal to people who have been exposed to Covid-19 to become convalescent donors because this is not mandatory, but awareness for humanity will get something good,” he continued.
Dandim 1609/ Buleleng Lt. Col. Inf Muhammad Windra Lisrianto who was also present at the occasion added that the activities carried out at this stage were screening to determine the health condition of prospective convalescent blood plasma donors. When declared passed screening then the potential donor will be contacted again to be able to donate his blood plasma. “So today is just a stage screening. Tomorrow will pass screening tomorrow the blood will be taken because the team that came today is directly from PMI Denpasar from the Sanglah Central General Hospital (RSUP),” he said. (hms)
