FHIS is again holding its 2nd Public Lecture Series on the theme of Gender and Local Wisdom in Asia.
The second Public Lecture Series, which is a form of collaboration between the Eurasia Foundation and the Sociology Education Study Program, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Ganesha Education University, carries the theme “Gender and Local Wisdom in Asia” which presents academics from FISIP, University of North Sumatra, Dr. Harmona Daulay, S.Sos., M.Sc. in the Ganesha III Undiksha room (19/02/2024).
This public lecture series activity was attended by Undiksha academic structural officials, in this case, the Dean of FHIS Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suastika, M.Pd., Deputy Dean 1 Prof. Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H., LL.M., Chair of the SSP Department, Secretary of the SSP Department, Coordinator of the Sociology Education Study Program, and lecturers and staff.
Apart from being attended by lecturers, this public lecture was attended by students from various campuses online. During the delivery of the material, Dr. Harmona Daulay, S.Sos., M.Sc. also invites interactive discussions with public lecture participants. This workshop was guided by the moderator from the FHIS Undiksha Sociology Education study program, Lola Utama Sitompul, S.Sos., M.Si. In his accumulated presentation, Dr. Harmona Daulay, S.Sos., M.Sc. that there are different constructions between masculine and feminine. Therefore, society needs to understand, comprehend, and have a desire to uphold equality.
This activity ended with the signing of the MOA and IA from the Dean of FHIS Undiksha together with the Dean of FISIP, University of North Sumatra.
