Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) discussed and signed a collaboration with Pukyong National University, Korea through a meeting that took place in Ganesha Room I, Undiksha Rectorate, Thursday (15/6/2023) afternoon. This discussion was attended by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. In his remarks, he conveyed foreign cooperation for the implementation of the Higher Education Tri Dharma program to become one of Undiksha’s programs in order to accelerate the realization of the university’s vision of “Becoming an Excellent University Based on the Tri Hita Karana Philosophy in Asia in 2045” as well as to realize the Chancellor’s vision, namely to make Undiksha as International Reputable University in Education and Leadership (IRUEL).
For this reason, the collaboration with Pokyang National University will run well and be followed by an actual program that will ultimately benefit both parties.
President of Pokyang National University, Prof. Dr. Youngsoo Jang accompanied by The Provost of International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hyunwoo Kim also welcomed this collaboration and hoped that it could be carried out on an ongoing basis. His party opened offers of cooperation for various fields, starting from Aquaculture studies, Chemistry, Social Sciences, Engineering, and so on. The form of the program is not limited to the context of education and teaching, but also collaborative research.
This meeting was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Deputy Dean I of the Engineering and Vocational Faculty (FTK), Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences (FHIS), Representatives of the Nursing Study Program, PGSD Study Program, and Chair of the Cooperation Agency Undiksha and its staff.
