Singaraja- Hundreds of innovative learning media created by students of the Faculty of Education (FIP) at the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) were exhibited from 10 to 12 July 2023. The exhibition, which was held in person, also served as a space to introduce their work to a wider audience.
This exhibition displays 224 works consisting of teaching aids, instructional videos, and other digital media. The learning media uses innovative learning models, including project-based learning, case methods, and problem-based learning. The three models offered require a project or problem-solving in lectures or learning.
Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of FIP Undiksha, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd in his report said that the works on display were the work of students from the Educational Technology Study Program, Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program (PGPAUD), Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) and Counseling Guidance Study Program. (BK). The creation of these works cannot be separated from the role of the course lecturers. It is hoped that this exhibition, which is being held for the first time, will introduce students’ work to a wider audience.
This exhibition was opened by the Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Finance, and General Undiksha, Dr. I Wayan Artanayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd. He who was present with the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Public Relations and Alumni, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Sudiana, M.Kes expressed his appreciation for the implementation of this activity. According to him, the work produced by students and lecturers in charge of the course is extraordinary for improving the quality of education. The work is considered to make it easier for students to understand the learning material. “The resulting product can make it easier for students in the future to understand how the learning process is made easier. Because the media is one of the indicators for the learning process as well as possible and learning objectives can be achieved,” he said.
Apart from being in the faculty, these works are also being exhibited at major activities on campus. Another important thing to emphasize is that the work is deemed necessary to have Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Apart from FIP, exhibitions or similar activities are also expected to be carried out by other faculties. (hms)
