Singaraja- Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Preparation of Financial Statements for 2022 at the Bali Taman Hotel, Buleleng, Wednesday (7/12/2022). On that occasion, the Head of the Undiksha General Affairs and Finance Bureau, Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H., M.Pd., emphasized that financial managers must work thoroughly, intelligently, and intelligently carefully.
Financial statements input is carried out on the Institution Level Financial Application System or Sistem Aplikasi Keuangan Tingkat Institusi (SAKTI). This system integrates various applications that the Work Unit has used. SAKTI consists of a budgeting module, a commitment module, a payment module, a treasurer module, an inventory module, a fixed asset module, a reporting module, and an administrator module. The existence of several of these modules, according to Yasmiati, requires thoroughness and caution to anticipate errors. “There’s even a slight mistake, it requires a lengthy resolution, it can even reach the Ministry of Finance. So it takes a long time to be able to return to the old report if there is an error in data input,” he said.
This bureaucrat from Tabanan Regency also emphasizes that in preparing financial statements, it is very important to maintain coordination between related departments. Likewise, if there are problems, you can take anticipatory steps by coordinating with the Singaraja State Treasury Service Office as a working partner or directly to the center.
This FGD invited speakers from the Singaraja State Treasury Service, namely Advanced State Treasury Technical Supervisor Functional, Ketut Putu Oki Murjana, S.E., and Undiksha Internal Supervisory Unit Head, I Wayan Krisna Eka Putra, S.Pd., M.Eng. During this activity, Oki Murjana said that in preparing financial statements using the SAKTI application, all budget managers play a very important role. The compatibility of existing modules is also a very important thing to pay attention to. “The process requires precision and coordination between units,” he said. This man from Penarukan Village, Buleleng Regency, hopes that Undiksha’s financial management and reporting will get better in the future. This FGD was attended by financial managers and managers of State Property at the Rectorate, faculty and postgraduate levels. (hms)
