Singaraja-Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) as an academic institution develops usage-hybrid micro teaching. This is not only part of the technological era but at the same time as a step to respond to the development of learning trends, especially in the new normal era.
The training is conducted by Undiksha through the Integrated Education Laboratory (Labdikdu). This activity invited lecturers and students as participants. Participants were not only given an understanding of the implementation of hybrid microteaching, but also the required facilities and their use.
Head of Labdikdu Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Putu Budi Adnyana, M.Sc., explained that the training was held from 17 to 21 July 2022 with participants divided into several groups. “So 10 people are trained for each class,” he explained Thursday (21/7/2022).
There are four advantages of using hybrid microteaching. First, can train the components of basic teaching skills as a whole and can display moving material. Second, more flexible. Students can attend lectures, both offline and online. Third, in this learning, there is still social interaction, because there are still students who take part in offline learning. Fourth, how students and lecturers can practice using technological devices used in learning. “This is a learning trend going forward,” he said.
It is hoped that this training can motivate lecturers to implement hybrid micro-teaching in lectures and in the future it can become a reference for other institutions. (hms)
