Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) has hundreds of lecturers. The academics were asked not only to carry out their duties as teachers. But it also plays a role in the development of study programs and institutions. This was conveyed by the Deputy Chancellor (Rector) for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd in a coordination meeting in the Ganesha II Rectorate Room, on Tuesday (20/2/2019).
The vice-rector from Bonyoh Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency said that as a Public Service Agency (BLU), this university with eight faculties has implemented a policy of giving remuneration (awards for performance) to lecturers who have civil servant status. The same thing is also given to those with contract status. “As a lecturer, don’t just teach. “But participate in developing study programs,” he stressed, accompanied by the Head of the General and Financial Bureau, Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H.
This was also emphasized at a meeting with Deputy Dean II. Everyone is asked to help monitor performance and immediately evaluate if problems arise. “The deputy dean must also ensure his performance,” he said. Apart from lecturers, Undiksha also implements a remuneration policy for employees in the administrative and information processing fields. It is also hoped that there will be an increase in the quality of work. “Leaders must also pay attention to their performance,” he added. (hms)
