Singaraja – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continues to strengthen the performance quality of each unit. Everything is desired to prioritize productivity and effectiveness. For this, details and job descriptions are prepared. The validation took place at the Puri Saron Hotel, Buleleng Regency, on Sunday (21/7/2019).
Deputy Chancellor II Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., revealed that the details and job descriptions were bills from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti). This is one of the indicators to find out how capable Undiksha is in carrying out bureaucratic reforms internally. “Today’s activity is really an innovative step that we are taking as an institution in order to answer the bill from Kemenristekdikti,” he said.
He further conveyed, that in addition to creating productivity and performance effectiveness, the details and job descriptions are a form of innovation in staff performance commitments to the institution. From that also, officials of each unit will understand what can and should be done. “From this, you can also place employees in accordance with their fields. Those who have ability A are no longer placed in field B,” he said.
According to him, with the clarity of this task, it will be possible to avoid double-finding funding for each activity. “Because so far there have been overlapping tasks. This is what needs to be avoided in the future,” said this academic from Bonyoh Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency. The job descriptions discussed by the team will later be submitted to the Legal and Organizational Bureau of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education for approval. After that, it was formally followed up with a Chancellor’s Decree (SK). From that, it is hoped that all work units can understand their duties better so that they can make the institution better. “With the SK, we automatically have to be aware and understand, how and what we do so that this institution can be better,” he concluded.
