Singaraja-Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) in 2023 is able to carve positive and proud performance achievements. This consists of achievements and achievements of Key Performance Indicators (IKU). This achievement received appreciation from the Supervisory Board (Denwas) in a coordination meeting, Saturday (26/8/2023).
At the meeting that took place at the Puri Saron Hotel, Buleleng, the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., explained that Undiksha continues to strive to improve quality so that it can be more competitive, both nationally and internationally.
He also conveyed, currently Undiksha will continue to improve to be able to improve its quality and continue to perform well to be able to make Undiksha a Legal Entity State University (PTN-BH). Various strategic steps must be continuously carried out, starting from gradually increasing the student body, increasing the academic qualifications of lecturers and education staff, increasing the number of professors, and so on. This will be achieved if all components at Undiksha want to work together in harmony and the concept of “pesaja”.
The Chairperson of the Undiksha Supervisory Board, Hamid Muhamad, Ph.D., expressed his appreciation for Undiksha’s performance achievements. He was also pleased with Undiksha’s performance in the first semester of 2023 because of the 14 Key Performance Indicators (IKU) only 2 indicators needed to be improved. “The two indicators also do not include work contracts, they are additional,” he said.
He believes that with the various good practices currently being carried out if they are continued, Undiksha’s performance will be even better in the future. Apart from that, he also emphasized that in the future risk management should be more optimized so that there are no gaps for any irregularities to occur in the future.
Regarding Undiksha’s efforts towards PTN-BH, he assessed several aspects, and from several indicator assessments carried out by the Director General of Higher Education, there were several more stages that had to be prepared and of course when Undiksha. This is expected to be considered and prepared.
On the other hand, Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs, Dr. I Wayan Artanayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd., conveyed input from Denwas to achieve Undiksha’s future progress, so that improvements will continue to be made. “Therefore, all input to build Undiksha, whether it’s to become a PTN-BH and the performance of this first semester which has been running optimally will be used as a guideline to make Undiksha even better,” he said.
This coordination meeting was also attended by the Chairperson of the Senate, Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Finance and General Undiksha, Dr. I Wayan Artanayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd., ., Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni and Public Relations, Prof. Dr. Drs. I Ketut Sudiana, M.Kes, Dean and Postgraduate Director, Secretary of Institution, Head of Bureau, Head of SPI, Chief of Expert Staff, Head of SP4, and Associate Expert Budget Analyst. (hms)
