Faculty work meetings at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continue. Thursday (31/1/2019), it was the turn of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) to be held at the Puri Saron Hotel. This annual activity was attended by lecturers and student representatives. Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Curriculum Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Arnyana, M.Si, who opened the meeting, said that through this meeting, various programs could be formulated in line with the university’s strategic plan for 2020-2024 which had entered the finalization stage by the team. “Of course, the program carried out must be in line with what the institution has planned,” he stressed, accompanied by the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suparta, M.Si, and Head of the General and Financial Bureau, Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H.
Furthermore, the vice chancellor from Kemenuh Village, Gianyar Regency said that Undiksha carries the vision of becoming a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia by 2045. Making this happen cannot be separated from the role of the faculty. There must be innovative programs created to improve grades. “The program being implemented must-have innovation. “It must be planned carefully,” he said. This working meeting was held until February 1 with the agenda of program formulation.
Apart from FMIPA, on the same day, the Faculty of Economics (FE) also held a working meeting. Opened by Vice Chancellor II, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. He said that the program design must be careful and able to support the development of the institution in a better direction. (hms)
