Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) has conducted monitoring and evaluation (Monev) of public information transparency on the websites at the university level, faculty/postgraduate, and unit levels. This activity, attended by the leadership of faculties and postgraduate programs, aims to ensure that the information presented on Undiksha’s website is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to the public.
This monev involved the Main Publication and Documentation Officer (PPID) and PPID Executor. Together, they evaluated the existing content on the website and identified areas that needed improvement and enhancement. The primary focus of this monev was to provide transparent and relevant information to all stakeholders, including students, lecturers, staff, and the general public.
This monev is also part of Undiksha’s preparation for the Public Transparency Information Evaluation by the Central Information Commission in 2024. The Head of Undiksha PPID, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Sudiana, M.Kes., emphasized the importance of information transparency as part of the institution’s commitment to providing the best and most transparent services, in addition to complying with Law No. 14 of 2008 on Public Information Disclosure. He expressed hope that this activity will enhance the quality of Undiksha’s information services, thereby further supporting academic and effective and efficient administration processes.
Regarding public information transparency, in 2023, Undiksha was recognized as an Informative Public Agency, ranking 21st nationally in the university category. In 2024, Undiksa’s ranking is expected to improve. To that end, Information and public documentation management will continue to be optimal. These efforts are also supported by increasing socialization efforts aimed at the academic communities and the general public.
