Singaraja– Law and Citizenship Student Association (HMJ), Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Ganesha University of Education (FHIS Undiksha) commemorated Pancasila Day on June 1 2023 by holding flowers at the Curastana Heroes Cemetery, Buleleng.
The event with the theme “Internalization of Pancasila Values Through the Example of the Spirit of Struggle of Heroes” also invited the Buleleng Veterans Legion of the Republic of Indonesia (LVRI), Heads of Departments, Lecturers, Student Organizations, and Students.
Head of the Department of Law and Citizenship Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H., LL.M. conveyed that Pancasila’s birthday was a momentum to emulate the services of heroes. In this era of independence, intellectuals must continue to fight against the “new model” invaders, such as stupidity, the negative impact of technology, drug abuse, and other juvenile delinquency.
This academic from Panji Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng also invited the Undiksha Law and Citizenship Department academic community to always apply Pancasila values in social life. “As intellectuals, it is fitting for us to set an example in implementing Pancasila values. Do not let those values be degraded by radical understanding,” he said. (rls/hms)
