Singaraja- The Engineering and Vocational Faculty of Ganesha Education University (FTK-Undiksha) is committed to creating competitive graduates. In line with the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) policy, this is realized through an independent internship program in collaboration with PT. Dago Engineering, Bandung. The student release was held on Friday (2/2/2024).
This program was attended by 17 students who were divided into independent internship activities and research and development programs with the theme “Smart Green Garden”. Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I expressed his appreciation for this program because it can be a space to improve student competence. In the future, this program is expected to be sustainable and followed by other breakthroughs and innovations. In terms of time, it can also be increased with the 3 + 1 scheme, namely three years for students at college and 1 year for an internship.
Dean of FTK Undiksha, Dr. Kadek Rihendra Dantes, S.T., M.T. said that his party is trying to continue to improve the quality and quantity of programs, including trying to increase student participation and accommodate all study programs.
Meanwhile, the Main Director of PT. Dago Engineering, Putu Suka Narendra said that the collaboration in implementing internships with FTK Undiksha has been running for the past two years. In the evaluation, the quality of Undiksha students was stated to be no less competitive than other universities. Even from the internship program, there are Undiksha graduates who are directly recruited as workers. He also gave a positive response to continuing this collaboration as a form of contribution to educational development.
This meeting also opened a research and development program with the theme “Smart Green Garden” located in the Jinengdalem campus area and signed a collaboration between PT. Dago Engineering with FTK Undiksha. (hms)
