Singaraja– The five-kilometer Fun Run activity held by the Buleleng Police, Sunday (2/2/2020), welcoming the Bali Bhayangkara Eco Run, received appreciation from the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd who was present at the release of the participants. This sport which involves students, students, and the running community of Singa Run, Cyber, and Sparko is considered not only good for health but also as a place to knit together. “Of course, we appreciate this activity. From here we build togetherness. Togetherness is always echoed by Undiksha in carrying out development, “he explained.
The Chancellor from Nusa Dua, Badung Regency explained that Undiksha through the Faculty of Sports and Health also has the same activities. Participants who enlivened not only came from the Undiksha academic community but also from the general public. This shows that this cheap sport is very popular. “The same goes for the activities carried out by the Police. The participants come from all walks of life. This means that this sport is welcomed positively, “he said.
Sport is one part of realizing superior human resources. Therefore it is hoped that this event can be carried out in a sustainable manner and the number of participants involved will increase. “Hopefully this sport can become a culture so that a healthy society is created,” he added.
The Buleleng Police Chief, AKBP I Made Sinar Subawa explained that this activity was also a warm-up event ahead of the Bali Bhayangkara Eco Run, which is an international running event. This 5 Kilometer Fun Run takes the starting route at Ngurah Rai Street (Singaraja City Park) – Jln. Veterans – Gajah Mada – Lieutenant Colonel Wisnu – Ngurah Rai – Udayana – General Sudirman – Heroes – return to Jln. Ngurah Rai and finish at Singaraja City Park. “We hope that the participants involved can make the Bali Bhayangkara Medco Valentine Eco Run 2020 a success,” he said. (hms)
