Singaraja: Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) was Visited by Universitas Muliawarman (Unmul) and Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) related to the international program, Wednesday (0/11/2022). The visitation was regarding benchmarking academic policies and international programs.
The delegation of Universitas Mulawarman was led by the Special Staff of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Agus Sulistyo Budi. His presence at Undiksha was received by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Cooperation Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., and the Head of the Academic, Cooperation, Planning and Public Relations Bureau, Drs. I Made Yasa, M.Pd., with the coordinator for academic affairs, the coordinator for planning and cooperation, and representatives from UPT TIK.
On that occasion, Prof. Agus conveyed his visit to Undiksha in the context of benchmarking academic policies related to services and the MBKM program implementation. In addition, they also want to know information about information technology management. “Of course, there are many things that escape our attention, and it turns out that Undiksha has done very well,” he said.
The information obtained at Undiksha will be considered for future collaboration, especially related to MBKM and other matters. Besides being visited by Universitas Mulawarman, Undiksha was also Visited by UNY, led by the Head of the International Service Office, Basikin, M.Phil., M.Ed., Ph.D., with the staff. Vice Rector Rasben Dantes also welcomed his presence specifically for benchmarking international programs.
Basikin explained that currently, UNY has 3 international programs. Therefore, the visitation to Undiksha was carried out to share related international programs that have been running so far. “We hope that during our visit to Undiksha we can study together,” he explained.
In his opinion, Undiksha has provided optimal service for international students so far. Therefore, it is hoped that cooperation can continue improving, especially in short courses.
On the other hand, the Vice Rector of Undiksha, Rasben Dantes, appreciated the 2 Universities’ visitation to share regarding the implementation of MBKM, the achievement of IKU, how Undiksha recruits international students and other international activities or programs that are already running at Undiksha. “Grateful to be able to meet in person with UNY and Mulawarman, we share with each other,” he said.
During this visitation, it was also discussed regarding future collaboration programs that might be created, both in the academic and non-academic fields, to produce superior and quality graduates. Hopefully, this visit will also strengthen friendly relations between Undiksha and UNY, as well as with Mulawarman University in the future. (hms)
