The Balingkang Confucius Institute from the Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) participated in the Director’s National Forum of the Indonesia Confucius Institute 2023 and the 2nd International Conference of the Global Confucius Institute (ICGCI) organized by the Mandarin Language Center (PBM) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) from 9 to October 12 2023. This hybrid event carries the theme “Training the Role and Talents of the Confucius Institute Throughout the Belt and Road Initiative”.
On this occasion, Undiksha was invited along with Al Azhar University Indonesia, Maranatha Christian University, Surabaya State University, Malang State University, Tanjungpura University, Hasanuddin University, and Udayana University.
This event presented prominent speakers from three countries, namely Prof. Wu Yongyi (East China Normal University), Mr. Cavin Pamintuan, Ph.D. (Angeles University Foundation, Philippines), and Dr. Belko Ouologuem (Bamako University of Letters and Human Sciences, Republic of Mali). (rls)
