Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) again held Training to Improve Basic Instructional Technique Skills (PEKERTI). This activity was opened by the Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation of Undiksha, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., in the Faculty of Medicine Seminar Room, Monday (8/8/2022). Participants are invited to be able to adapt to technological developments.
The committee chairman, Dr. Luh Putu Budi Yasmini explained that this activity was attended by 25 lecturers from 6 Faculties, namely the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational (FTK), Faculty of Economics (FE), Faculty of Medicine (FK), Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Faculty of Education (FIP), and the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences (FHIS). The training will be held until August 14, 2022.
Delivered further, the material provided focuses on pedagogical skills and the application of learning support technology systems. This is because not all participants have basic education.
Deputy Chancellor Rasben Dantes who was accompanied by the Secretary of the Undiksha Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute, Dr. I Gusti Lanang Agung Parwata, M.Kes., said that PEKERTI is very important to do. He hopes that every lecturer at Undiksha can participate in order to improve the teaching and learning process. “I hope that through this PEKERTI activity, they will have broader experience and knowledge so that they can have an impact on the teaching and learning process,” he explained.
In addition, in this era of technological disruption, it is hoped that the learning process will not only occur transfer of knowledge, transfer skills, and transfer of technology but also exists the transfer of value to students. Therefore, in the future lecturers are expected to always update learning materials in accordance with the times and technological developments. (hms)
