This inauguration took place offline at the Undiksha Auditorium. The chairman of the MPM is Anak Agung Ayu Anandita Mahendra Putri and the student president is Putu Febry Sugiantara. The two of them signed the handover document symbolically with the previous officials, namely Wahyu Falsafa Restavara as chairman of the MPM and Kadek Andre Karisma Dewantara as Student President of the Student Republic.
Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., accompanied by the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Public Relations, and Alumni, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., congratulated the new management who have been entrusted with their duties for the next one year. We also thank the previous management who have been dedicated to raising the image and achievements of Undiksha.
Specifically, to the new management, participation in the organization was conveyed as a vehicle for the development of soft skills, such as communication skills, learning to express opinions properly and politely, collaborating to build teamwork, respecting others, thinking critically and creatively, and so on. Softskill can be a provision later when plunged into society and the world of work. “A lot of things you will get from organizing, and maybe you will not get in the lecture hall,” he said.
The Chancellor of Jampel also revealed that Undiksha students had achieved various achievements so far, both at the national and international levels. This achievement is one of the introductions to Undiksha being ranked 13th nationally in the 2021 Student Performance Rating Management System (SIMKATMAWA). Maintaining and improving these achievements, this humble Chancellor has high hopes for MPM and BEM REMA, as well as other student organizations, to continue to encourage and motivate all students to compete in competitions both at national and international levels. In addition, the activities designed are directed at improving student performance and can become an icon or hallmark of Undiksha. “I also hope that all leaders and lecturers can provide motivation and guidance to students who have the ability and potential for that (achievement, ed),” he said.
Agung Anandhita stated his commitment to support Undiksha’s progress. In implementing the program by BEM-REMA, he is ready to coordinate. In particular, he also admitted that he was proud to be a part of Undiksha, which was growing rapidly. The same thing was also expressed by Febry Sugiantara.
