Singaraja- The Republic of Indonesia Employee Cooperative (KPRI) Kuwera Ganesha University of Education held an Annual Member Meeting (RAT) at the Undiksha Auditorium Building, Tuesday (25/2/2020). This annual routine activity is attended by hundreds of members. On that occasion, it was revealed that the assets managed by the cooperative reached IDR 66 billion. Based on the data, this figure consists of external (voluntary) capital of Rp. 43 billion and own capital (basic savings, mandatory, and participation funds) of Rp. 23 billion.
Apart from that, this cooperative also has Remaining Profits (SHU) of IDR 2 billion. This figure has increased by IDR 147 million or 7.8 percent from the 2018 financial year. Chairman of KPRI Kuwera Dr. Drs. I Made Pageh, M.Hum., expressed his appreciation to the Chancellor of Undiksha who has properly supported the sustainability of this cooperative. “The achievement of the Kuwera Cooperative cannot be separated from the support and guidance of the Chancellor of Undiksha as the Trustee of the KPRI who always gives consideration to the management of the cooperative. Besides the sense of togetherness of members of this cooperative, “he said.
Delivered further, KPRI Kuwera manages assets of around Rp. 7.8 billion, consisting of members’ voluntary savings of around Rp. 4.8 billion and cooperative capital of Rp. 2.8 billion. It was stated that the development of this cooperative continues to show a positive trend. The problem of bad credit can be minimized. “This cooperative is based on a sense of togetherness for the welfare and happiness of the members of the cooperative itself. So whatever is decided for the progress of the cooperative will be fully supported,” he concluded.
The same thing was conveyed by the Head of the Bureau of Academic, Student Affairs, Planning and Cooperation (AKPK), Drs. I Made Yasa who was present represented the Chancellor of Undiksha. In his remarks, very high appreciation was given to KPRI Kuwera management for their achievements in 2019. Yasa also hopes that all cooperative members will not hesitate to provide input to improve the quality of KPRI itself. “The Kuwera Cooperative has made an extraordinary achievement. And to improve the quality of KPRI Kuwera’s services, I hope members will provide constructive input,” he said.
In the 2019 RAT, the election of KPRI supervisors is carried out directly by members by selecting one of the 5 existing supervisor candidates. The position was entrusted to, I Made Karunia, S.T., M.Kom. (Head of Personnel Section), I Made Suarsana, S.Pd., M.Sc. (Lecturer of Mathematics Study Program), Nyoman Mudana, S.Sos. (Head of Academic Section). All three were directly sworn in before the members. The implementation of the RAT received appreciation from the Office of Cooperatives, Industry, and Trade and the UKM of Buleleng Regency. It is hoped that this cooperative will continue to grow because its impact has been felt by all Undiksha civil servants, even contract workers, especially in terms of savings and loans. (hms)
