Singaraja – Appreciation for the implementation of the admission process for new students at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) for the 2019/2020 academic year through the Joint Entrance Selection for Independent Pathways with Computer Based Testing (SMBJM-CBT) did not only come from the Deputy Regent of Buleleng, dr. I Nyoman Sutjidra, Sp.OG. But also the Chairman of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative for Bali, Umar Ibnu Alkhatab during monitoring, Thursday (18/7/2019).
He revealed that the implementation of the selection which began on July 17 had gone well. Likewise in the use of the system, there are no problems. It is hoped that this will continue to be maintained in the following year’s selection. “System is fine. We hope this can be maintained,” he said. His presence at the campus, which was previously called the Singaraja Teaching and Education College (STKIP), was received by Undiksha Deputy Chancellor I, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.TI., Deputy Rector II, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., and Vice Rector III, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd.
On pIn accepting these new students, previously Undiksha Chancellor, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., has stated his commitment to the Ombudsman to follow the rules. This was conveyed in Denpasar along with other universities in Bali. This was reiterated when the Wabup of Buleleng conducted monitoring on July 17. One hundred percent acceptance refers to test scores. Not on the size of the donation. “Graduation is based on passing grade and score. It’s not about how big the donation is,” he said. He also conveyed, that in the CBT which was divided into the categories of social and human sciences, scientific and mixed sciences, the questions that each participant received were different. This is to realize independence in solving a problem. “We want students to have good quality. Therefore, the input must also run well,” he added. (hms)
