Singaraja- Academician of Universitas pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha), Singaraja, Bali, Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H., LL.M., was listed in the 20 Best Scientists according to Alper-Doger (AD) Scientific 2023 version. This ranking is based on the results of the most scientific work citations.
Dewa Mangku, as he is affectionately known, ranked 6th. He comes from Panji Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng and is an alumnus of SMAN 1 Denpasar. Concentrating on international law, he completed his undergraduate studies at Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya. His Master’s and Doctoral programs were finished at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta.
In addition to his main duties as a lecturer, he is now also trusted to serve as the department head of Law and Citizenship, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences Undiksha. Not only that, in education and teaching, he is also often trusted to fill lectures at other universities.
Entering the top 20 best Indonesian scientists, according to AD Scientific 2023, was unexpected for him. “This is certainly beyond my expectations. So far, I have only focused on writing in the field of international law and focusing on international affairs,” he said, Sunday (1/1/2023).
Of course, this proud news did not make him complacent. Instead, it is a motivation to continue to improve competence in the field of law, especially international law. “Including to spread the field of international law because it is still rare in Bali, especially in Buleleng,” he added. (hms)
