Singaraja- The leadership of the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continues to strive to accelerate the development of institutions on all fronts. To support this, the absorption of aspirations from the faculty level was intensified, which was packaged through coffee morning. The Faculty of Economics was the first to be targeted, Monday (9/9/2019).
On that occasion, the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., said that this aspiration was very important as a follow-up material going forward. From this, a policy can be determined. From the Faculty of Economics, his party did not receive much input. What has just been revealed is limited to requests for accelerated visitation of re-accreditation at the Economics Education Study Program and efforts to increase the number of students in the D-3 Hospitality Study Program. “This aspiration is very important for the future development of the institution. What we receive, is immediately followed up and solutions are sought, “he explained.
It is believed that there are still aspirations from the FE academic community apart from these two things. I just don’t have the guts to say it yet. He emphasized that the leadership of the institution is very open to any input or constructive criticism. “Maybe because earlier the atmosphere was semi-formal. In the future, we want this coffee morning to be relaxed. We can sit parallel, if necessary, sit in a circle at one table,” he said.
Apart from relating to aspirations, the leadership also again invited all members of the community to work together in advancing the institution, including efforts to accelerate realizing Undiksha’s vision as a superior university based on the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana in Asia in 2045. Apart from that, there was also encouragement for the lecturers as well as employees for further studies. This is believed to have an impact on the quality of future performance. (hms)
