Denpasar- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continues to strive to accelerate the achievement of professorships for lecturers. One of the steps taken is by facilitating and assisting doctors in publishing articles in reputable international journals with Q1 or Q2 standards which are the submission requirements. Through the Center for Journals and Publications under the auspices of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Undiksha, this was supported by a workshop “Assisting in Writing and Publishing Articles in Scopus Indexed Journals Q1 and Q2” on 7 – 8 March 2020 at the Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Center.
The workshop presented speakers managing reputable international journals (indexed Scopus) in Indonesia from Semarang State University (UNNES), Dr. Parmin S.Pd., M.Pd., and involved a team of accompanying article writing from Undiksha who had international publication experience, namely Prof. dr. Luh Putu Artini, M.A. Ph. D., Prof. Dr. Ni Made Ratminingsih, M.A., Dr.rer.nat. I Gusti Ngurah Agung Suryaputra, S.T., M.Sc., I Wayan Mudianta, S.Pd., M.Phil., Ph.D., and Dr. Dewa Gede Divayana, S.Kom., M.Kom
Head of the Center for Journals and Publications, Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd explained that this activity was attended by 29 lecturers, with details of 2 lecturers from universities outside Bali, 11 lecturers from private and state universities in Bali and the remaining 16 came from Undiksha. This activity was opened by the Head of LPPM Undiksha, Porf. Dr. I Gede Astra Wesnawa, M.Sc.
On the second day, the workshop continued with the same assistance for participants who discussed mentoring in writing methods, research results and followed by improvements to the title and abstract of the article. The participants took part in the activity with great enthusiasm until the activity ended with an article review by the accompanying expert giving several authors the opportunity to present their articles.
The implementation of this activity is solely to accelerate the achievement of professors at Undiksha. Thus, the committee and accompanying team are committed to providing independent assistance outside of the two days of the workshop activities until participants can publish an article in the intended journal.
