Singaraja – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) has once again welcomed students from Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands. The orientation and welcoming ceremony took place on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Balingkang Confucius Institute Auditorium.
The event was attended by Undiksha’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., who expressed his enthusiasm for the ongoing collaboration with Windesheim University. He emphasized that this program is one of the key partnerships between the two institutions, focusing on community engagement with partners such as SMA/SMK Negeri Bali Mandara, the Department of Culture, Yayasan Dana Punia, and Kayuputih Village. The program is designed to integrate Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) values, with the aim of fostering significant progress in both academic and social aspects.
Windesheim University representative, Jannie Lensen, expressed her deep appreciation for Undiksha’s continued commitment to the collaboration. She highlighted the projects and partnerships. Over the past few years have provided valuable experiences for students, not only in terms of academic development but also in language learning and cultural immersion. She emphasized that Bali’s rich traditions and customs offer a unique learning environment, significantly different from the students but also to the university and local communities in North Bali.
With this continued collaboration, both Undiksha and Windesheim University hope to strengthen their academic and cultural exchanges, ensuring that the partnership positively impacts both education and society, particularly in supporting sustainable development initiatives.
