Singaraja – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) welcomed a delegation from the Bali Provincial Information Commission on Friday, December 6, 2024. The meeting, hosted by Undiksha’s Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Public Relation, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Sudiana, M.Kes., focused on strategies to enhance public information services, which are managed by the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID).
During the discussion, Prof. Sudiana expressed appreciation for the Bali Information Commission’s initiatives and provided an overview of Undiksha’s public information management system. He highlighted that Undiksha was recognized as an ‘Informatif’ public institution in 2023 and emphasized the university’s commitment to maintaining this status in 2024. To achieve this, PPID Undiksha continues to implement sustainable improvements and service innovations to enhance information accessibility.
The Bali Provincial Information Commission commended Undiksha’s efforts, particularly its PPID website, which effectively meets public information needs through a range of service features. They also provided recommendations for further optimization, such as improving accessibility for persons with disabilities and leveraging technology to accelerate information services.
The meeting also explored potential future collaborations, including awareness programs for students and faculty to promote public information transparency. This dialogue is expected to positively contribute to improving Undiksha’s public information services, benefiting both the academic community and the wider public.
