Surabaya- The XI Indonesian National Education Convention (Konaspi) which took place at Universitas Negeri Surabaya not only held for academic events, but also for members of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Forum of Indonesian State Education Institutions. The activity entitled “Ladies Program” as a forum to foster creativity and strengthen cooperation between members.
In the program which held on Wednesday (9/10/2024), there are several creative crafts shown, such as making serving hoods from waste, painting in a veil, making an eco-print Batik, decoupage of jute bags, and showing work in fashion and culinary.
The DWP from Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) contributed in this annual event, under the coordination from the Leader of DWP Undiksha, Ny. I Dewa Ayu Muter Suastini Lasmawan. The members are very enthusiast during this event, which was greeted with big appreciation for being able to raise the spirit of creativity of the participants. “This activity is very useful to foster new skills for members, which can be applied and developed further at Undiksha,” said Mrs. Suastini Lasmawan.
DWP Undiksha also plans to adopt the skills learned in this Ladies Program into various training activities in the campus environment. With this step, it is hoped that Undiksha’s DWP can continue to develop into a productive and inspiring organization.
Konaspi XI was attended by various academics and education practitioners from all over Indonesia, making it an important forum for sharing knowledge and strengthening the national education networks. (hms)
