The sweet gift that was successfully presented by Law students from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences (FHIS) at Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) was not only the Indonesian delegation at the Asia Youth International Model United Nation event in Thailand. Most recently he also succeeded in winning third place in the essay competition held by the Young Writer Community in Mataram. In the event which had the theme “The Role of Youth in Realizing a Golden Indonesia 2045”, student Desi Yunitasari was represented. This achievement is below Malang State University and Diponegoro University. Apart from that, Desi Yunitasari’s twin, Devi Yusvitasari, won second place in the 2018 National Thinktank Business Competition at the Kalimantan Institute of Technology.
Head of the FHIS Legal Sciences Department, Ratna Artha Windari, S.H., M.H., explained that this achievement was a source of pride. This is because the Law Department, which was only founded in 2014, has been able to compete on the national stage, fighting against and eliminating prestigious universities and has tried out many competitions. “Of course, this is a source of pride. “The department is still young, but capable of achieving achievements,” she explained, on Wednesday (7/11/2018).
It was further stated that the student was also focused on writing scientific papers. Through his talent, it is hoped that in the future he will be able to take part in other competitions and again be able to present sweet gifts to the university which already has a Faculty of Medicine. “Of course, with this achievement, it is hoped that the name Undiksha will become more widely known. Likewise with the Law Department,” she added.
