Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) received the Tjatranata award from the National News Agency (LKBN) Between the Bali Bureau, on Thursday (13/12/2018). The award which was handed over by the Governor of Bali, Ni Luh Putu Putri Suastini Koster, was a form of appreciation for a partner who provided the best cooperation, especially in 2018.
At the reception, Undiksha Chancellor, Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., represented by the Head of Student Affairs and Public Relations, Drs. I Ketut Surya Panca. It was stated that the cooperation with LKBN Antara was going well. It is hoped that this will continue in a sustainable manner. “We thank you for this award,” he said.
As an educational institution, Undiksha has a number of information that the public deserves to know. The role of the media in this matter is very necessary, including from LKBN Antara. One example is the admission of new students which regularly takes place every year.
Head of Perum LKBN Antara Bali Bureau, Edy M. Ya’kub, conveyed that this award was also given to commemorate the 81st anniversary of LKBN Antara. This event, which was also enhanced by a photo exhibition, also served as a momentum to invite the public to learn more about his historic office. “We are holding this activity to better introduce the existence of LKBN Antara as a news agency to the people of the Island of the Gods,” he said.
