Singaraja- Participants in Teacher Professional Education (PPG) In Position (Dajlab) III at Ganesha University of Education attended an academic orientation, on Wednesday (31/7/2019). Through this, teachers from various regions are expected to be more professional in carrying out the teaching-learning process. This was conveyed by Vice Chancellor I Undiksha, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.TI after giving directions.
He said that the teaching and learning process for students in the future will face more challenges. One of them is the change in learning media that is full of information technology. The 127 teachers must really prepare themselves and increase their competitiveness. “With this orientation, we hope teachers can be more professional. I can be more prepared to face challenges,” he said. Delivered further, improving the quality of teachers is expected not only through the PPG program. Schools as users must also play an active role. “The same thing has to come from school. There needs to be participation,” he added.
The PPG was attended by teachers of the Balinese Language Education Study Program, Computer Engineering and Informatics, Elementary School Teacher Education, and Early Childhood Teacher Education. PPG Undiksha Coordinator, Drs. I Gede Nurjaya, M.Pd., said that apart from the orientation, the participants must also take part in online learning, and workshops in their respective study programs and carry out Field Experience Practice (PPL). Through it, it is hoped that innovative things will be born. “We hope that this teaching innovation will be born by the participants,” he concluded. (hms)
