Singaraja– The Faculty of Law and Social Sciences (FHIS) of the University of Education of Ganesha (Undiksha) continues to expand cooperation with other tertiary institutions. The latter is woven with Prasetiya Mulya University. This was discussed on November 20, 2019.
The presence of representatives from Prasetiya Mulya University was welcomed by the leadership of FHIS Undiksha, namely the Dean, Deputy Dean I, Head of the Department of Law and Citizenship, Secretary of the Department, and Coordinator of the Law Study Program. At the meeting, the two parties discussed opportunities for collaboration in submitting the “Erasmus Plus Project in Capacity Building for Higher Education” proposal. This project opens collaboration between several universities both at home and abroad.
Related projects at a glance, are transnational cooperation projects based on multilateral partnerships, especially between higher education institutions from program countries and eligible partner countries. They can also engage non-academic partners to strengthen relationships with communities and businesses and to strengthen the systemic impact of projects. These projects aim to promote cooperation between the European Union and Partner Countries and support qualified Partner Countries in addressing challenges in the management and governance of their higher education institutions. This includes improving the quality of higher education, developing new and innovative educational programs, modernizing the higher education system through reform policies, and fostering cooperation across different regions of the world through joint initiatives.
Throughout the course of the meeting, matters relating to: Modernizing Business Law Education in Indonesia in Preparation for Industry 4.0 were discussed, the potential for universities to be involved, the activity model that was the target of the project, the timeline for submitting proposals, and so on. At the end of the meeting, an agreement was produced to collaborate collaboratively between Undiksha and Prasmul to submit proposals in order to strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. In particular, the topic raised in the proposal relates to efforts to modernize business law education in Indonesia. (rls)
