Following up on Instructor Chancellor Number 01 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Learning Activities, Academic Services, and Public Services to Prevent the Spread of Corona Virus Disease-19 (COVID-19) at Ganesha University of Education, we hereby present practical instructions for online learning at Undiksha as follows.
- The principle of online learning is to distribute learning content, monitor student activities, and establish interaction with students. The essence of online learning is:
- Lecturers provide learning content through the selected platform, which can be in the form of text, images, audio recordings, and/or video.
- Lecturers provide assignments and/or quizzes to monitor learning activities and learning achievements.
- Students. can access learning content from their respective locations.
- Students work on assignments and/or quizzes according to the learning content.
- Lecturers provide feedback on assignments and/or quizzes that students have worked on.
- The implementation of theoretical lectures is carried out through online learning, both e-learning and non-e-learning applications. If possible, practical lectures can be held through online learning.
- E-learning applications use browser technology as a client to complete one or more tasks over a network. E-learning applications are carried out with a Learning Management System (LMS), such as e-learning. undiksha.ac.id (Undiksha Official eLearning), Google Classroom, Schoology, Edmodo, and others.
- Non-e-learning applications, which consist of:
1) Social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the like).
2) E-mail application.
3) Conversational applications (WhatsApp, Telegram, and the like)
4) Cloud Services (Google Drive, iCloud, DropBox, and the like).
- The implementation of the e-learning application (point 2 letter a) has fulfilled the principles of online learning in point (1).
- To fulfill the principles of non-e-learning online learning, the following activities are carried out.
- The mechanism for disseminating learning content and assignments can be through broadcast WA Groups, Telegram Groups, Facebook Groups, Google Drive, and the like.
- Quizzes can use Google Forms.
- Assignments must be submitted through individual communication between lecturers and students, namely e-mail, personal WA communications, or Telegram.
- Feedback from lecturers on student assignments must be through individual lecturer and student communication, namely e-mail, WA personal communication, or Telegram.
- Discussions between lecturers and students can be carried out via the WA Group, Telegram Group, Facebook Group, and the like.
- Indirect synchronous face-to-face or video conferencing can be done with Skype, Google Hangout, Weber, Zoom, and others.

- Lecturers who carry out online lectures are required to fill out teaching journals and fill in lecture attendance via the SIAKNG website (http://siakng.undiksha.ac.id) for the Class of 2019 and above and/or SIAK (http://si.undiksha.ac. en) for the under 2019 batch.
