Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) received a visit from the Indonesian Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Friday (21/7/2023). This visit is in order sharing related to financial management.
The delegation of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung was led by the Coordinator in the Finance and Accounting Section of the Bureau of General Administration, Planning and Finance by Dr. H. Aep Syaefudin Firdaus, M.Pd and received by Undiksha Head of Finance and General Affairs Bureau Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H., M.Pd. Also present on the occasion were SPI, middle and young analysts in the fields of finance and planning, revenue/dispensing treasurers, BPP, and all financial staff, as well as Undiksha accounting and reporting.
Syaefudin Firdaus explained that his visit to Undiksha was inseparable from the status of UIN Bandung and Undiksha, which are both Higher Education Public Service Agency (PTN-BLU). Therefore, of course, there are many similarities in terms of regulation and orientation in providing the best service for the community. Regarding financial services, there were many things he wanted to know from Undiksha. One of them is related to financial management, especially starting from receipts to expenses so that they can be managed as well as possible. “That’s why the Undiksha team and we got a lot of knowledge to manage BLU funds better,” he said.
Delivered further, sharing What has been done, Undiksha is known to have a connecting system to the Agency Level Financial Application System (SAKTI) application called the Undiksha Planning and Expenditure System (SIPEPENG). This application can minimize the risks of errors in financial management. This innovation is expected to be applied at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati. “We will form a small team to carry out the next development together with Undiksha and that is very important because, with the magic application, all BLU validations are carried out there because without a liaison application, it seems there will be problems,” he explained.
As universities that both want to become PTNs with Legal Entities (BH), he hopes that there will be collaboration and collaboration with Undiksha in certain fields to develop and improve the quality of the two universities.
Head of Bureau Yasmiati expressed her appreciation for choosing Undiksha as the destination sharing regarding financial management. It was emphasized that Undiksha was still improving related to financial management so that it would get better. One way is to develop systems that are able to make financial management more effective, and efficient, and still prioritize accountability. “With the system, it is expected to be able to minimize the risks that exist in the stages of financial management, both receipts and expenditures,” she said.
In line with Syaefudin Firdaus, he also hopes that together they will advance their respective universities to become PTN BH and become a superior university among the others. (hms)
