Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is the coordinator of implementing the Basic Competency Selection for Candidates for Civil Servants (SKD-CPNS) for a number of agencies in Bali which are under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemenbudristek). This sparked the desire of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Bali to make this superior accredited campus the place to carry out the same activities. The selection is planned to take place from 11 to 14 October 2021. This has been coordinated by the two parties as well as a site inspection, Thursday (23/9/2021).
Head of the Administrative Section of the Bali Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, Drs. H. Nurkhamid, M.Ed., said the desire to carry out the selection at Undiksha was a follow-up to the direction from the Ministry of Religion so that they could find partners around regional offices. “We have been around, thankfully at Undiksha there is sufficient infrastructure,” he said.
Based on the results of his monitoring during the implementation of the SKD for agencies under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the SOP prepared by Undiksha was in accordance with standards, including implementing the Covid-19 prevention protocol. He hopes that later he can do the same thing with Undiksha. “And our challenge from the Ministry of Religion is how to implement the same standards as Undiksha. Even if it’s underneath, a little bit. And we have received input from the Vice Chancellor II. How technical in the field and follow up to see more details. Hopefully, we have an overview. Later we will discuss it with other teams,” he explained. He added the selection applicants were 1,098 people consisting of formations from a number of agencies and educational institutions.
Meanwhile, Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Administration, Finance, and Human Resources (PAK-SDM), Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., welcomed the wishes of the Bali Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion. It was emphasized, based on the Chancellor’s instructions, Undiksha was ready to provide services and prepare the necessary facilities. “And earlier we talked about the operational technical and minimum instrument requirements that must be met so that they are in accordance with the wishes of the procedure and flow set by the Indonesian Ministry of Religion,” he said.
In the future, it is hoped that activities like this can continue to be carried out at Undiksha in order to improve services for the community, including the implementation of other activities related to the development and improvement of human resource capacity. “We can also serve. Because in terms of personnel and facilities, Undiksha has, both network facilities, and computers, and we have competent human resources in their fields. Of course, this is something that the Chancellor wants, so that Undiksha can do more for the welfare of the wider community, “continued the Chairman of the Forum of Deputy Chancellors II of PTNs throughout Indonesia. In order to support these services and improve the quality of implementing activities, Undiksha continues to make improvements to campus instruments and facilities. (hms)
