Singaraja- The Postgraduate Program at the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held a doctoral promotion exam on April 4 and 6 2022. The promovenda, Siluh Nyoman Alit Nuryani and Desak Putu Saridewi participated in the exam. Both are students of the Doctoral Program in Education Sciences.
In the exam which took place offline, Alit Nuryani presented a dissertation entitled “Development of a Web-Based Inlet Integrated Nursing Leadership Training Model”. Her research relates to how to develop competence for a nurse in the future. “This is indeed my passion and I am happy to share knowledge, especially in my environment. So I thought that by studying at Undiksha which focuses on education, I would be interested in doing this research,” she said.
Her dissertation was successfully defended before the Board of Examiners and led him to become the 33rd doctor who was “born” from the Undiksha Postgraduate Program. Promovenda who was born in Sempidi in 1976 admitted that her research results will continue to be developed, and used for training, especially for nursing leadership.
During his doctoral education at the Undiksha Postgraduate Program, he admitted that he did not experience significant problems because the lecturers, promoters, and co-promoters were very kind and always supported him.
Meanwhile, promovenda Desak Saridewi presented a dissertation “Development of Hindu Religion Learning Materials Using Cartoon Media to Improve Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Capabilities of Students with Disabilities at State Special School 2 Mataram”. In his presentation, he conveyed that this research was carried out to provide solutions for the development of Hindu religious learning materials with cartoon media, designed according to the learning characteristics of students with disabilities. This learning material is narrative content complete with pictures arranged with modifications to the appearance of sign language.
The results of this study indicate that the characteristics, concepts, and structure of cartoon-media Hindu Religion teaching material products strongly support intrapersonal abilities which are focused on aspects of honesty, discipline, and independence as well as interpersonal skills which are focused on aspects of courtesy, caring, and self-confidence.
This final project also led him to earn a doctorate and become the 34th doctor “born” from the Undiksha Postgraduate Program.
Undiksha Postgraduate Director Prof. Dr. I Gusti Putu Suharta, M.Si is proud of the birth of these two new doctors. He also gave appreciation for the research that was carried out because it was useful and useful for the environment in which he worked. It is hoped that the results of this research can continue to be developed so that they can provide greater benefits, both specifically for the development of science and for society.
These graduates are expected to continue to develop themselves and be able to become graduates with character, adaptability, collaborative, skills, and inspirative in accordance with the Undiksha Postgraduate motto, namely Bakti Untuk BAKTI. (hms)
