Denpasar-Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continues to strengthen international accreditation preparations. One of them relates to the Self Evaluation Reports (SER) and the ANNEX. The finalization was carried out through a Focus Group Discussion on 20 – 23 April 2022 in Denpasar.
This activity was opened by the Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Cooperation Undiksha Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I. He was accompanied by Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Public Relations Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd, and Chair of the Learning Development Institute and Quality Assurance Center Prof. Dr. I Made Ardana, M.Pd.
On this occasion, he conveyed that the implementation of this FGD was a follow-up to the input provided by the international accreditation agency. It is also important to do this in order to welcome the visitation which is scheduled to start from July 2022. “Hopefully we can start at the end of July to September. Hopefully, at the end of the year, we will get results and hopefully, all study programs can also get unconditional accreditation status,” he hoped.
Undiksha proposed 21 study programs for international accreditation. The study program is divided into five clusters, namely cluster elementary and technology education, cluster accounting and Management, then cluster natural science, cluster language education, and cluster language computer and informatics education. “Incidentally the PIC for AQAS himself will come to Indonesia and at the same time will carry out his visitation offline in the elementary and technology education cluster,” he explained.
Rasben Dantes also gave high appreciation to all Undiksha academics who supported the implementation of international accreditation. Previously, Undiksha leadership had also reviewed the readiness of infrastructure in each faculty. It is hoped that this international accreditation can run successfully in order to realize an increasingly superior and competitive Undiksha. (hms)
