Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) received a visit from the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI) Surakarta, Wednesday (31/8/2022). This visit was in the context of sharing the Financial Management of the Public Service Agency (PK-BLU).
The ISI Surakarta delegation led by the Chancellor Dr. I Nyoman Sukerna, S.Kar., M.Hum. He was present with Vice Chancellor II, Bureau Heads, and related staff. His presence was received by Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for General Administration, Planning, Finance, and Resources Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., accompanied by the Chair of the SPI, I Wayan Krisna Eka Putra, S.Pd., M.Eng., and Head of the General Affairs and Finance Bureau Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H., M.Pd.
Chancellor Nyoman Sukerna explained, his visit to Undiksha was in the context of sharing related to the preparation of academic papers for the application of the Public Service Agency (BLU) financial management pattern. Undiksha was chosen as the place for sharing because it has various achievements and also has already become BLU. Apart from that, the good and harmonious relationship that has existed for a long time between ISI Surakarta and Undiksha wants to be maintained. “We came to Undiksha to learn a lot of knowledge because Undiksha has had many achievements, so our first priority is to ask for guidance and experience,” he said.
After this meeting, he hoped that ISI Surakarta could immediately change its status from a Work Unit (Satker) to a Public Service Agency (BLU) and in the future continue to receive guidance and assistance from Undiksha. “Of course, we ask for assistance and direction from Undiksha in the future,” he hoped.
On the other hand, Undiksha Chancellor Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.PD., expressed his appreciation for this visit. Delivered by him, as a tertiary institution that had previously become a Public Service Agency College (PTN BLU), Undiksha was ready to share knowledge and experience.
Previously, Undiksha had also received many visits from several universities in Indonesia to also share information about BLU. This, said the Chancellor of Jampel, is certainly in line with future plans to make Undiksha a Trend Setter and International Reputable University. In addition, the programs that have been designed also aim to lead Undiksha to achieve its vision of becoming an Excellent University Based on the Tri Hita Karana Philosophy in Asia in 2045. “Hopefully with the movement and performance of all our academic community we can achieve our vision,” he said.
In the future, collaboration and synergy will continue to be carried out, be it with other universities, the business world, or the industrial world, and do not forget to always improve the quality of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Education and Teaching, Research, and Community Service. This must also be framed in harmony which is often echoed by Undiksha. “The point is that we must always be in harmony with God, respect each other, love and give kindness, and keep protecting nature and the environment around us,” he concluded.
