International Conference on Advanced Informatics: Concept Theory and Applications (ICAICTA), is a conference that is held annually. This year it was held on 16-17 August 2017 at Hotel Grand Inna Kuta, Bali. This conference was a cooperation conference between the group of Informatics expertise School of Electrical and Informatics Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia; Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan; University Sains Malaysia, Malaysia; Burapha University, Thailand; and Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, Indonesia. ICAICTA aims to confront Indonesian and international academicians, scientists, and industry to share knowledge, exchange ideas, collaborate, and present research results in the field of Informatic.
There were 73 papers from several countries submitted to ICAICTA. Each submission paper was reviewed by at least three committee members. The committee decided to receive 46 papers. This ICAICTA activity also invited 3 speakers namely Prof. Ahamad Tajudin Khader (University Sains Malaysia), Prof. Michiteru Kitazaki (Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan), and Prof. Iping Supriana (Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia). The event was attended by one hundred and six (106) participants from Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, and Timor Leste. This activity was sponsored by the IEEE Indonesia section, and also supported by Airy Rooms, Mitrais, Traveloka, Bukalapak, and DMR.
