New student registration for 2023 has a system change in the Computer-Based Written Test or Ujian Tulis Berbasis Komputer (UTBK) – Joint Selection for State University Entrance or Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN) or currently called the 2023 National Test-Based Selection or Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Tes (SNBT). Registration will open on March 23, 2023.
UTBK-SNBT 2023 can be followed by students who graduated in 2021, 2022, and 2023 from secondary education (SMA/MA/SMK and equivalent), as well as graduates of Package C in 2021, 2022, and 2023 with a maximum age of 25 years (as of July 1, 2023). Participation in UTBK is the main requirement to take part in the Test-Based National Selection at Academic Universities, Vocational Universities, and State Islamic Religious Universities.
