Singaraja – The Doctoral Education Science Study Program under the Postgraduate Program at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) commemorated its 9th Anniversary, on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Despite its relatively young age, the program established in 2015 has positioned itself as a potential trendsetter in the field of education.
The program has demonstrated positive growth, particularly in terms of student enrollment, which has shown a steady increase. Notably, its student body comprises individuals from both Indonesia and international communities. According to the Coordinator of the Doctoral Education Science Study Program, Prof. Dr. Putu Kerti Nitiasih, M.A., various initiatives have been implemented to enhance the program’s competitiveness. These efforts align with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education principles, emphasizing education, research and community service. Moving forward, the program is committed to maintaining and improving its quality to establish itself as a leading national and international reference.
The Director of the Postgraduate Program Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., expressed his pride in the study program development. He highlighted its progress as a reflection of Undiksha’s vision and mission. “The growth has been remarkable. We hope this progress will not only continue but also improve further. We encourage the program to enhance its competitiveness both nationally and internationally,” he remarked.
The celebration featured various activities that fostered camaraderie among participants and witnessed the launch of the Indonesia Journal of Educational Inquiry. The event’s chairperson, Dr. I Gede Suwiwa, S.Pd., M.Pd., shared his hopes for the celebration to reinforce the program’s contributions to the advancement of the Postgraduate Program and Undiksha as a whole. “We aim for this anniversary to solidify our commitment to supporting the progress of the Postgraduate Program and the university,.” he stated. As the Doctoral Education Science Program enters its next chapter, it remains dedicated to driving innovation and excellence, ensuring its role as a pivotal contributor to education at both national and global levels.
