Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) hosted the International Conference on Software Engineering and Information Management (ICSIM) and the International Conference on Big Data and Smart Computing (ICBDSC) workshop, from 10 to 13 January 2019. This is the second event, Undiksha through the Technical and Vocational Faculty (FTK) collaborates with Young Education Cheng Du, China, and Kalbis Institute.
The event took place at the Undiksha Postgraduate Auditorium with the chief organizer, Dr. I Ketut Agustini, S.Si., M.Si., followed by 15 countries in the world. Some of them are Canada, America, Jordan, Morocco, Japan, India, South Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. Deputy Chancellor IV Undiksha, Drs. I Wayan Suarnajaya, M.A., Ph.D. after opening the event said that this conference was very beneficial for Undiksha, especially for FTK. Various information is obtained related to information technology which is now very necessary to support life. “Of course, this activity is very good for Undiksha because it gets important information,” she said.
It was further stated that this activity is also one of the strategies to realize the internationalization of Undiksha which was launched in 2019. It is hoped that there will be further programs that will be born after this conference. “Now we’re having a meeting here. “Of course we want this to be followed by the emergence of other programs, such as the exchange of teaching staff,” she said.
Apart from being the host, this academic from Nusa Penida District, Klungkung Regency said that Undiksha is also actively participating in international standard activities. “Undiksha doesn’t just invite. “But we are also often invited,” she added.
