Commemorating the 26th Anniversary of the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha), the academic community held a flag ceremony, Tuesday (15/1/2019). Undiksha Chancellor, Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., emphasized that in building institutions, togetherness must be supported. “By working together, we will be able to take the university in a better direction. “We need a harmonious life,” he stressed.
Regarding unity, Jampel continued to campaign since he was trusted to be the number one person on the largest state campus in North Bali. Even in 2015, it was specifically launched for that purpose. “The unity and harmonization that exists today cannot be separated from this declaration,” he said.
He further stated that for almost four years as a “master”, Undiksha has made many positive achievements. Starting from the accreditation of study programs, which previously was mostly C, is now almost non-existent. “In fact, it could be said that there is no longer a C. Because it is ready for visitation,” he said. In terms of publication of scientific works in reputable international journals, it has reached hundreds, compared to before it was still just a matter of fingers. Apart from that, in its services, this university which has a Faculty of Medicine also uses information technology. “These programs are launched every year. “In 2019, we will launch internationalization at home,” said the chancellor from South Kuta, Badung Regency.
The quality of Human Resources (HR), he added, is also no less than that of other universities. A number of lecturers have successfully graduated from the doctoral program with honors. Some also continue their education abroad. Students also don’t want to lose. In 2018, there were 56 people who succeeded in winning achievements in scientific and sports fields at national and international levels. This is a special gift for this Dies Natalis who is still relatively young. “We continue to strive to improve the quality of human resources to be able to realize Undiksha’s vision of becoming a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia by 2045,” he concluded.
