Mangupura- The Coordination and Development Meeting (Rakobang) for the 2022 fiscal year program which was held by the University of Education of Ganesha (Undiksha), Friday (4/12/2020) was not only filled with presentations by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd regarding general policy direction. The Deputy Chancellors also provided more detailed program designs according to each field.
Vice Chancellor II Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan in charge of Planning, Administration, Finance, and Human Resources. He explained that through the fields handled, his party continues to strive to take strategic steps to make Undiksha more competitive, including realizing the Rector’s target to make Undiksha aInternational Reputable University in Education and Leadership (IRUEL) in 2022. There are a number of programs designed. First, in the area of planning, the program orientation still refers to government priority programs, the Ministry of Education and Culture’s strategic plan program, the higher education clustering program, the BAN-PT nine standards program, the Chancellor’s vision and mission, the Undiksha business plan program and Key Performance Indicators (IKU), as well as routine operational programs. These are programs that we continue to strengthen,” he said.
Second, in the field of administration. Undiksha is strengthening performance based on information technology so that it becomes a smart campus. Various programs are offered to make this happen, namely the updating program service tools and service infrastructure, electronic-based service system development programs, programs to improve academic and non-academic service skills, strengthening program punishment and reward digital-based staff performance, and e-Document strengthening programs accountability, including ensuring the establishment of integrity zones and Clean Serving Bureaucratic Areas (ZI-WBK and WBBM). “In administrative performance, Undiksha has used a number of systems. We continue to optimize and develop this,” said the vice chancellor who is also the Chairperson of the WR II PTN Forum throughout Indonesia.
Third, in the financial sector, Undiksha, which holds the status of a Public Service Agency (BLU), not only continues to make improvements to financial governance. More than that, we also continue to optimize the use of assets that are a source of income or income-generating. This is supported by strengthening the e-reporting system, improving staff qualifications and competencies, and strengthening e-budgeting. “Through these reinforcements, the goal is to make it happen smart campus,” he stressed.
Fourth, in the field of resources. Undiksha continues to boost the quality and qualifications of educators and education staff. Apart from that, it also spurred the acceleration of the ideal ratio of the ideal composition of professors and head lecturers. “We also plan to increase the number of certified laboratory assistants and strengthen the service system that is currently running,” said Lasmawan.
As a tertiary institution that is still developing, Undiksha continues to encourage the development of resources related to infrastructure facilities. As is the case with the construction of new lecture buildings as well as the development of laboratories and the procurement of other educational equipment. In 2020, we already have development. 2021 also continues. Next year, this will still be a serious concern,” he said.
