Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) launched internationalization at home in 2019. The Chancellor’s policy continues to be strengthened. This was also included as one of the discussions in the 2020 fiscal year working meeting which is planned to take place on March 23-24.
At the preparatory meeting, on Wednesday (20/3/2019) in the Ganesha II Rectorate Room, Deputy Chancellor II Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd said that internationalization at home is not only being promoted this year. However, there must be a sustainable movement and support from the entire academic community. Program planning must also be in line with this. “Program planning must be in accordance with what is planned for 2020 by the chancellor. “We have to be consistent,” he stressed.
This academic, who earned a doctorate at the Indonesian University of Education (UPI), Bandung, also said that in the plan, funds must be allocated for Human Resources (HR) development, such as continuing education for employees and lecturers. “Improving the quality of institutional human resources must also be considered. There must be an allocation of funds for that. Likewise with research,” he said.
