Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) has prepared a strategic plan for 2020-2024. Discussions through a special team have been carried out. This is one of the efforts to accelerate the realization of the vision of becoming a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia by 2045. “Preparing the strategic plan is a cycle carried out by Undiksha to build institutions and lay the foundation for Undiksha’s future,” said Undiksha Deputy Chancellor II, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., Thursday (17/1/2019).
This academic from Bonyoh Village, Kintamani District, Bangli said that the strategic plan was based on clear and measurable pillars as planned by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. No less important, it contains innovations to realize the institution’s vision and answer the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. “This strategic plan was developed by translating Undiksha’s vision. In these four years, a strong foundation can be laid to accelerate the realization of that vision. Industrial Revolution 4.0 must also be addressed. “This is a phenomenon that we must be able to answer in institutional activities,” he said.
It was further stated that this strategic plan is not only of concern to the rectorate. But it must be translated by the faculty. “This preparation involves all components at Undiksha to get creative ideas, about how this institution will be built in the next four years,” he added.
Head of the Strategic Plan Preparation Team, Prof. Dr. Ketut Suma, M.S., said that discussions had been carried out since early January 2019. As an effort to accelerate, the team was divided to discuss various aspects. “The tasks have been divided. “The results are presented and summarized into a complete strategic plan,” he said. It is targeted that this strategic plan will be completed before the end of January so that it can be translated more quickly by the faculty. “In the preparation, there was input from outside. “From stakeholders,” he concluded.
